London Royal Parks Half Marathon 2019

We are proud to tell the world that our Operations Director (Danny Curwood) and Helpdesk Administrator (Leah Parkes) both bravely took part in the London Royal Parks Half Marathon in October this year, with Danny running to support Prostate Cancer and Leah supporting Cancer Research, both of which are very fine and worthy causes, as we are sure you will all agree.

Our team were joined by James Mandeville, a top Building Manager from Savills PLC and Lewis Boulter, a fine ex-KCE FM warrior who both ran beside them, and I’m sure that their banter would have kept everyone going along the way!

Sadly Cancer is one of these horrible diseases that seems to touch most of us one way or the other these days, and Prostate Cancer in particular is far too common, and typically men being men only tend to approach their GPs for men’s health issues when their symptoms are severe, and at that late stage treatment for prostate cancer is difficult so there is a huge need to support Cancer Research in general and to make the ‘seeking advice on men’s health and prostate issues in particular’ less daunting and more easily accessible.

Danny, Leah, James and Lewis would like to sincerely thank everyone who donated to support them with their admirable challenge, as together they raised over £3,600.00 for Cancer Research which is absolutely remarkable, and unbelievably our Danny has now signed up for the 2020 London Marathon next April so watch this space for further news!!!!!!!!
